Its case to case basis. Like our case, we pay 350 canadian dollars per hour to our immigration lawyer. From the start of PNP to now
(we have our papers in Buffalo for our PR and on the last stage) we spent more or less 5700 dollars already and its still not over. We needed a lawyer because
our case was quite complicated, being all of my children (4 of them) are now here and our lawyer did a lot of work for them to stay (esp. my two older boys ages 23 and 20). But now they are working. You can never tell how much you will spend. Everytime we communicate to the lawyer, there is always a fee for that, even if its only for a few minutes (email, phone call, letter, etc).
But in our case, its worht it.
