The primary school your children will attend will depend on the address where you end up living.

You can buy a detached home. You live in the main floor while rent out the 2 legal suites (that's called mortgage helper) in the basement. Otherwise, if you want to go for multiple family apartment, you should read commercial properties at realtors.ca for available listings.
