Correspodence from CIC

I am a bit confused. I have to this date received no letters or emails from CIC -- but my application is moving along ECAS

Application sent on 21 October 2014
Application received on 23 October 2014
Processing started on 30 December 2014
Transferred to Surrey on 15 January 2015

I have not receive an AOR email or letter -- or a discover Canada book. My email address is correct on the app, and my home address is correct on ECAS.

Any ideas

As long as your application is processed and transferred to local office everything is fine
My application was,received march 2014, processed in april, transferred some time in june and I received the guide in july..so quite late
You can still study the guide on line if you want

You can also call cic call center to mention you haven t received the guide

I agree, it is confusing. But it's "normal." I got my AOR/book 2 months after it was put into processing...

Since you didn't get any correspondence...chances of missing the invite letter for test..every week keep calling CIC and ask for the latest update on your file...

I called CIC and apparently all is good with my app. They also confirmed that an email was sent to me on 11 December 2014. Apparently it just never made it through. I don't recall it going into my spam bucket. They did nonetheless say that any other letters -- oath for exampe -- will come by canada post
