Spousal Visa/Corp expired before hobby entered Canada . What next? Vo didn't responding emails for exten

Once has expired have to apply from the beginning again. It could not have been extended as have to enter whilst still valid even if by doing a short landing and returning to home country this should have been pretty clear to the applicant.

Extensions are very rarely granted. The applicant is required to land in Canada before the visa expires. Otherwise you have to start the process again from scratch.

Why did the applicant fail to land in time? Why was an extension requested?

Thank you so much for helpful answers on this site.. Applicant couldn't get exit Permit/Visa from Kenyan authority

There's nothing he can do at this point but wait for a response from CIC. Generally speaking, extensions aren't granted and he will need to apply again from the start. But very occasionally exceptions are granted.

How long has it been since he contacted the visa office?

Exit visa? Are you sure this is an actual visa that needs to be applied for in advance, and not just an exit/departure tax you simply pay at check-in to the flight?
I've never heard of a visa needing to be approved, for one to leave their own country.

Typically COPR expiry is around 1 year from when the medical exam was done.
So some people have almost a full year time frame on their COPR, other's have barely a few weeks (some have received COPRs already expired).

Does it mean the PR Visa is issued and Passport and CORP will be in mail really soon?

You will receive an email attached with your PPR to ask you to send either your passport (Applicant is from a non VISA exempt country) or send two of passport photos (Applicant is from a VISA exempt country) with returned envelop to Ottawa. After Ottawa receives what they required, it generally takes one week to issue the COPR, and Immigration VISA (for Applicant is from a non VISA exempt country Only) and mail them back to you.
