COPR VISA VALIDITY

Hello!

I received an email (on Feb 18) from CIC mentioning that my application is almost complete. I have been asked to send my passports for issuance of visa and COPR.

My medicals were done last year (March 23,2013). So I would like how much time might be given to me (validity of visa and COPR) to enter Canada, since I am less than a month away from medicals expiration date of 1 year.

Anyone lately has received COPR visa and what is your validity?

You will have either a few days to land or almost a whole year. It all depends on whether the visa officer has requested that the medical examination be extended for another year.

I did medical exam on Jan 18,2013, and now is waiting for PPR. I am also meeting the same problem. Please must update what happened to your validity of visa.

I was in the same page as you guys. They have extended my medical validity another one year and then issued the visa for a length of 6 months. For being on the safe side, I included a cover letter explaining everything while sending the passports. But they had already printed the visa and cpr.
