Hi Guys,
I logged in on my account today and I saw a ghost update. My application got approved, finally!!!
AOR: May 15, 2020
CEC Inland

I can see the COPR number but I did not receive the document. According to the officer, I will have to wait for it and follow the instructions to apply for the PR Card.

I know how painful and disorganized this process has been, especially for us who applied early 2020. I am happy that my file got approved, but I feel sorry for the fellows who applied before me and haven't gotten it yet. Hopefully it will come soon for all of you!! Fingers crossed!!
Hey there! Could I ask you when did you get the GU?

I got a ghost update for criminality passed, security passed status on last Friday. How long will it take for final approval. Will you get COPR document in the account along with the final approval or will it take more time? Kindly share your experience.

Thanks in advance.
I am also in the same boat.
Hoping to get it soon.

How did you know it was for criminality?

Hi everyone,

I finally received my COPR yesterday! My timeline:
AOR: August 6
CEC inland, single applicant
VO: Ottawa
1st GU: September 24 (medical passed)
2nd GU: November 3 (biometrics)
3rd GU: March 12 (all passed)
Final decision: March 16
COPR: March 16

My file was stuck at the eligibility: recommended pass, criminality: in progress, security: not started, state for the longest time. Then on March 12th, I received a GU and called IRCC to learn that my file was still open but all stages had been cleared. I finally received my COPR letter in the portal and via email on March 16th.

Good luck to everyone still waiting! I hope everyone receives their COPR soon! All of you have been really helpful :)

God, it is getting so hard coming onto this forum everyday and seeing people who applied months and months after you getting through, and yet I'm still waiting. I applied in April 2020, and Security still hasn't started and Criminality is still in Progress. Mentally it's getting so tough....

everything has been passed since november. representative told me on call
I am in the same boat based on my call with them and GCMS note it has been approved since January and my AOR is April 4th. Its unfair that they are issuing COPRs to people that applied in January 2021!

Hi guys
I've read a few pages of the post and the processing times seem to be super different from one person to another. In the official website it says that it takes 6 months for FSW and CEC but I see people waiting for 9 months or even longer. My question is if I have literaly all the documents (medical check included, biometrics, etc...) and just need the invitation (have 470CRS) , how much time since do you guys think it'll take according to what's seen here? My Work permit expires in december and I wonder whether I'd have to request a BOWP.

Thanks to all and good luck!

How many days does it take to receive GCMS?

Same with me , it is been passed since November. Have you applied for GCMS notes?. I applied it 2 weeks ago, waiting for it...!
Yes, I had applied and got it a month ago. On my GCMS note I can see that the COPR is issued and I see a doc# number which is very frustrating because its been like that since January.
