MP: May 27
Biometric updated to completed (exempted): Oct 9
Biometric fee refunded: Nov 5
Final approval and COPR in the CIC portal: Dec 2

Yes, the background check was approved on the same day as my biometric was updated (Oct 9). Eligibility was passed in May according to the GCMS notes.

Biometric -6th October (they acknowledged on 5th November)
Security and eligibility passed but criminality in process.

Thanks mate. I did not have the new potal but got my direct COPR and instruction letter to send photos to local Service Canada for PR card.

this entire process seems like joke now. Jan- April- keep waiting we will settle other applicants first

this entire process seems like joke now. Jan- April- keep waiting we will settle other applicants first

I cannot understand in which way they are working... they should follow a chronological order...

How do you know that background is passed?

From my GCMS notes and once the application is approved, you will see the status changed in your CIC account.
