Thank you all for the interactive forum. For whom you got the COPR, will the eligibility period for citizenship consider the date of COPR or the PR issue date for counting days toward the citizenship ?

You mean PR card issue date? You can start counting from COPR date, if in Canada applicant as that’s when you’re technically landed. Your PR card will also state when you became PR which is when your COPR was issued.

i have August 24 AOR date i don’t get any update yet. My medical pass on 14 oct and no any other update.

So can I creat webform or make a call for status about my application or I should wait for more weeks ?

A lot of May applicants seem to be getting approved recently, and before that it seemed a lot of June/July applicants were getting approved....maybe they really are going backwards...?

Guys I see today COPR approval on the portal with copr number. May 2020 AOR
But I didnt receive any email for COPR letter? Has anyone experienced this? How long to wait. Also does the days count from approval date or once we receive copr letter. Thanks!

Yes I was also in a Covid pace group. My file was approved since October 2020 per GCMS and was stuck in Etobicoke since then.

Someone suggested to write an email which I did last week explaining my situation and luckily after 6 days I have my file approved in CIC account.

From what I've read, they sent it 1) via email after few days 2) sometimes they update in the portal itself (where the biometrics pdf were put earlier).

One of my friend got approval on portal few days ago. His AOR (PNP) was march 2020 with 1 dependent inland.
So I think we will get approval soon.

One of my friend got approval on portal few days ago. His AOR (PNP) was march 2020 with 1 dependent inland.
So I think we will get approval soon.

That's one year . Hope ours don't get stuck for that long
