You mean PR card issue date? You can start counting from COPR date, if in Canada applicant as that’s when you’re technically landed. Your PR card will also state when you became PR which is when your COPR was issued.Thank you all for the interactive forum. For whom you got the COPR, will the eligibility period for citizenship consider the date of COPR or the PR issue date for counting days toward the citizenship ?
Thanks alot
Thanks for your reply. Yes I am already in Canada. So once COPR issued, the COPR issue date is the date considered for counting. You mean PR card issue date? Congrats!
Looks like they’re going backwards, hopefully April folks will be the next lol
Congratz!! Did you get COPR email at the same time? I see approval but nothing else.Congratulations
Do you have any dependents on file?
great. After file approval in CIC account, when did you get copr letter?Yes I was also in a Covid pace group. My file was approved since October 2020 per GCMS and was stuck in Etobicoke since then.
Someone suggested to write an email which I did last week explaining my situation and luckily after 6 days I have my file approved in CIC account.
From what I've read, they sent it 1) via email after few days 2) sometimes they update in the portal itself (where the biometrics pdf were put earlier).great. After file approval in CIC account, when did you get copr letter?
One of my friend got approval on portal few days ago. His AOR (PNP) was march 2020 with 1 dependent inland.Any PNP applicant recently got approval or they are just processing CEC
I hope you are right that there is some kind of process being followed. If there are more posts about this, please share.A lot of May applicants seem to be getting approved recently, and before that it seemed a lot of June/July applicants were getting approved....maybe they really are going backwards...?
That's one year . Hope ours don't get stuck for that longOne of my friend got approval on portal few days ago. His AOR (PNP) was march 2020 with 1 dependent inland.
So I think we will get approval soon.
