I had a similar thing happen to me. On Friday, I received a GU and realized the biometrics field had been updated to ‘completed on 5th August’. I did my biometrics on 2nd November and my AOR is 6th August. I didn’t think much of the wrong date, I was just happy to see someone was working on my file. I then called IRCC to ask if anything else had changed and was informed that I had passed everything on Friday itself and that I need to wait for COPR now.
Everything else on my online profile is still the same. You’re probably in the same situation as me. You can call IRCC and ask for an update. Good luck!

So just got off a call with a lovely agent at IRCC and she basically confirmed (in a roundabout way) that Biometrics is what is screwing over everyone from Jan to May. She said the only thing she could really see wrong with my file (Criminality In Progress and Security Not Started) was the time frame between when Biometrics was requested and when they were received. She said that could have caused some problems. I implied that I was reshuffled back into the system and she responded with "not really but sort of". She said they are just starting to get a better understanding of COVID and processing delays (it's been a year but ok), and she said I should call back in a month/a month a half and they should have a better idea (hopefully) of where they are and what it all means.
Basically, there really is nothing to do there but wait, seems their system screwed us over and that's about that......I feel better potentially knowing what the issue is....but at the same time kinda worse knowing what the issue is and knowing there is nothing I can do to fix it....lol

With great courage called the agent after seeing GU on Friday (12th March 2021) & was informed all stages have been cleared.

Final Review going on & then COPR...
It's when you get an email saying your profile or file has been updated, but when you log into your online profile, you can't see any significant changes. It usually means something was approved (or denied) in the background of your application, something that doesn't show up on your profile. For example, you could receive a ghost update when your criminality is passed. You don't have a metric on your online profile to show this, so your profile doesn't look any different. You need to call up IRCC to ask about what the changes were!

I like how the agent told you to call back in a 1.5 months to know whether they started to make sense of this, but implied that we won’t get any decision yet. Amazing.
The "pass the blame" mentality of this organisation does not cease to amaze me....like professional experts at beating around the bush. I think overall i feel better after the call, not because of the information, but mostly because I've actually mentally given up. I can't stress about this anymore, I don't have the energy....they're not going to change, and me calling them isn't going to change anything....depressing but true
