@legalfalcon , I need your advice please. Can an outland, valid COPR and PR visa holder, which were issued in Jan 2021, travel to Canada for their first landing? Knowing that they aren't coming from they the US, and they don't have any relatives in Canada?
Currently as per the travel restrictions, no, unless you have a travel authorization.

However, some members on the forum have claimed that they successfully travelled, with a valid COPR that was issues post March 2020, but that is not what the travel restrictions state.

See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/travel-restrictions-exemptions.html

Hi @legalfalcon
I am a inland applicant, As per GCms notes my case was approved on Sep 14 , COPR number has been generate and sent to print queue , after that no update till now.

raised web form , they sent standard response that due to COVID , it is taking time . Called CIC , agent said you have to be patient until CIC emails you.

is there any way to reach out and say them it’s in print queue for such a long time without any update? Or what else can I do ?

thanks

Unfortunately you will just have to wait. There is no way to expedite the porcess. IRCC is trying to send COPR stories applicants each week in very limited numbers and until the COVID lockdowns continue, delays will be there. There are many applicants in the same boat as you.

@legalfalcon

Sir - I have question for you as I just got my ECopr. i have applied for Permanent SIN, PR cards. I was here on closed work permit since November 2018. Initially when we came here we were allowed to ship personal effects in year 2018 and when I came to Canada I was asked my company get list of goods shipped to be stamped by customs office.

Since I became permanent resident i have got bank balance and gold to be declared as first time immigrant. As an inland resident what should be next steps. Is there any guidance I need to follow.
i have got all pictures of my jewellery with me. At time of first visit as mentioned above, the officers were shown those pictures and they asked me to visit again at the time I became permanent resident.

any thoughts.

You have to just wait, mine was approved last year March and I was in print queue and I just got approve thursday. Although every case is different and maybe yours wont take so long like mine but I have raised like 3 webforms and called IRCC, they do things in their own time
