Just called IRCC. AOR May 05, 2020. Bio exempted Oct 9, 2020. Eligibility, Security, Medical and Criminality passed as per the agent. Need to wait for officer for final decision!
aor-april 23, biometric 20 october. everything has been passed . waiting for decision as per IRCC agent

Does anyone know how much time it take to get COPR after biometric.?

AOR Date: 24th May
Biometric Date: 3rd November

Hello All,
My AOR is 3rd March ,and I got my biomatrics done on 4th of November I am waiting for the final decision as my work permit is getting over on Nov 19 ,2020.I know I can apply for open work permit but I am worried about my Fiance as his work permit is getting expired on 29 dec 2020.Earlier we though If I get my PR we will get married so that I can apply his File for PR but I dont know what can be done now in this situation.Can anyone please help with this problem,Is there anyway my Fiancee can apply to extend his visa.

So, it’s COVID, and you know that processing takes longer than usual AND you didn’t apply for BOWP? Did I get that right?

Apply for it ASAP! at least you will be in implied status while you wait. No answerin regards to what to do for your fiancée.

I was waiting for any decision as no decision taken yet I will apply for my BOWP. Thanks for the help.

Same here waiting for final decision now. Everything passed. Phew...


COPRs have slowed down it seems after a sudden spurt...

True.Earlier we were waiting for biomatrics now we have to wait for COPR. And still no fix duration, some of them are getting in 2 week and others still waiting I feel like everything is luck here.

At this point, I start believing that they intentionally prioritize newer applicants in order to balance the percentage of application processed within 6 months (for their end of the year review/report).
In the end, once the 6-months threshold is crossed, doesn't really matter whether it takes 1 or 300 days more lol
