Hello,

This probably seems like a silly question, but I'd love to double check that I haven't missed anything.

I live overseas and applied for the FSWP via Express Entry. I have received a COPR as well as a visa in my passport, both with the expiry date of 2023/11/25. My key question here is - BESIDES landing in Canada before November 25th of 2023, are there any other compulsory steps in the immigration process that I need to be aware of?

I've put in many months of work to get this opportunity, and I just want to be sure that I haven't missed some fine print or obscure IRCC steps that are mandatory. What do I have to do now to confirm my PR status?

Thanks so much!

Nope. Unless your medical expiry is before Nov 25, 2023 - you are in the clear. There are documents that you might need in order to support your landing, but that's super generic (e.g. POF, Info sheets, original docs of everything, etc). If your family composition changes, that's something that IRCC will have to be updated about. But that's it. Can't think of anything else at all.

Congratulations. IIRC, you were Jan AOR right?

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply! Just being paranoid I guess, but given the gruelling and murky process, can you blame me? :p Yep, Jan AOR and got my visa in early March. Just wrapping up things now and hope to head there in a couple of months. Just hoping it all goes smoothly.
