CoPR, landing, eTA and ECAS

Hello,

I have two questions that maybe some will help me answer:

I am ready to land in April. I received the CoPR after my interview right away, but the issue is, that when I log in to ECAS it still shows status "In process" and nothing about that decision was made. I am curious, will they see more information at the border? I don't want to be stuck with my landing papers and trying them to prove that it is a real thing.

Also, do I need eTA? I am from visa exception country, so technically I should need one, but as I will be landing with CoPR, so maybe I don't need it anymore?

I take it your landing at an airport for starters? And anyway, I believe they extended the eTA project anyway, until later in the year.

Yes, in the airport. I know you don't need eTa by land. Ok, good to know. I didn't hear about eTa being extended. What was the reason?

I doubt the CIC website status that you can view supersedes the stuff the CIC has actually sent you. Sometimes it just doesn't get updated as it should.

My wife received her CORP and has landed and become a PR, but the status page online still says the sponsorship application is "In Process" and the PR application says "Decision Made"--we got sponsorship approval back in November, haha. Basically, as long as you have the documents they've sent you, I'm pretty sure you're fine.

Ok, thank you. I was wondering why they haven't update it. Both or applications are "In process".

That's the thing, that no one send me anything, I received my documents right in Canadian embassy after the interview, so that's why maybe they didn't update.
But I hope the landing will go without issues
