COPR and eTA

I've recently received an email requesting me to submit documents to receive a COPR.

The email is broken into sections for those who require a visa to enter Canada (need to submit passport) and those who do not (submit photocopy, photos, etc.)

The email recommends using this tool to determine this: http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/visit/visas.asp

As a UK passport holder, I can visit on an eTA. For the purposes of the above is this classed as not needing a visa?

Thank you. Just to confirm, will the eTA and document I receive following sending this information be sufficient to enter Canada with the current covid restrictions?

I believe only citizens and PRs are allowed in right now, am I right in thinking I'm being sent a 1 year PR document at the end of this?

If your spouse is Canadian, PR or citizen, you can enter with your copr and proof of their status and relationship. Copr likely valid for one year from date of medical. That will be your document to become a PR, you will get a PR card some months after landing. You are a PR from day of landing.
