I think you really need to check canada.ca as immediate family of pr and citizens both are allowed.

In this Thread we are trying to discuss about situations where people have expiry date in few days or a month...man you are in September...it is still far...you are safe..in case you have any information then please update us...otherwise I wouldn't worry about your situation knowing that my CoPR will expire in less than a month!!!! Hypothetically, if I fly to US on visit visa, stay at a hotel for 14 days, and then fly to Canada on CoPR, that should technically work

what is issue, US does not allow non-essential travel to Canada.

Thread name is clear: CoPR Coronavirus ....its about people with CoPR who wants to enter to canada while coronavirus is being the reason for travel ban...what can we do ? Are we allowed or not?? What are the solutions?? Can they expend our visa .?

This travel ban won't remain forever ...it will not even exceed 30 June...but people with expiry date before 30 June...what could they do ? That is the question. Are we allowed to fly .? Can IRCC renew our coPR and the visa.? What are the next steps after webform?? How long we gonna wait??

I'm really surprised how CIC/IRCC haven't clarified the most burning question that all people with CoPR have.
A) Will Borders remain closed for COPR holders until 30th June?
B) if so, what happens to people who were unable to travel and now have expired CoPR and PRV.
Answering these will help put a lot of anxious people at ease with more clarity and assurance that they will not have to go through a lengthy application process again.

Oh God effective until June 30, 2020. They should have given some window to CoPRs to travel at least until the end of March. Now an additional 3 months of wait.

Has this order been passed and is now set in stone or will it be debated further and reviewed as the situation evolves?

Landing as a PR is not essential.

Anyone entering Canada is "an immigration related issue", so yes, they are still processing the people who are able to travel to Canada. Once the ban is lifted, they will continue to process people who are able to travel to Canada..
