quick simple question , I got my COPR after Mar and its still valid , my brother is living in Canada as Perminant residence .
can i request from IRCC the AL under the extended family category which is
he 6 step process in the following link
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/visitors/immediate-family.html as i was thinking that this process for Visit Visa only , correct me if am wrong?

Man!!! please use the terms carefully. You wrote in previous posts that you are PR Card holder but now you have expired COPR. Please don't be confused about things otherwise you may land yourself in trouble.

Many people have landed with AL. Reply to your 7pt.

I am honestly worried as to what constitutes a "demonstrate an acceptable plan to quarantine for 14 days in Canada including proof of funds and a plan to show how you will obtain groceries, access medical care and other essential services "


Anyone here who has received an AL and shared a plan that worked, I will be extremely thankful for that. I am extremely worried as it has been so long ( am sure there are many who have been waiting) and there's no end to this.

eagerly waiting for some assistance.

I read it 2 3 times but nowhere its mentioned that your medicals have expired.Though I never got a regret mail but have read other's.They mentioned abt medicals in those mails but in this mail its missing.I too got tensed by reading this mail...its just not clear why he is being rejected.I think he should once again raise webform asking clarification.

Please demonstrate a well organised plan for quarantine and not just screenshots of your AirBnB. I would pick a date to travel and propose the things accordingly. If you are going with Airbnb then make sure to have some email exchanges with the owner and arrangement of food and groceries. As per new guidelines, IRCC will strictly review the quarantine plan:

Q. What extra measures has the Canada Borders Services Agency (CBSA) put in place?

A. The CBSA enhanced its presence at airports to observe travellers and any physical indication that they may be ill. Additionally, border services officers (BSOs) apply greater scrutiny and confirm that a traveller’s quarantine plan aligns with information provided via ArriveCAN. BSOs will also ask specific questions to determine whether the traveller will be in contact with vulnerable persons.

Where questions arise, the person is referred to a Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) official on-site at the airport.

The CBSA, along with its partners, continues to monitor the global environment and takes the steps required to keep Canada and Canadians safe.

For questions about quarantine requirements and enforcement, contact PHAC.

· bring this letter, along with your original CoPR and PR visa

· show it to the airline as proof that you are exempt from the travel restriction and that the validity of your expired CoPR and PR visa have in fact been extended.

· use this letter before 2021/03/07

Congratulations, I have received the AL but it's bit different than you.

You must carry a copy of this letter along with your passport as proof of your
authorization to travel to Canada.

At this time, we are not printing and mailing new CoPRs or PR visa counterfoils. For your travel

 bring this letter; <-----I don't have words " along with your original CoPR and PR visa" similer to your letter. May be because I was never passport submission request letter to get my passport stamp.
 show it to the airline as proof that you are exempt from the travel restriction and that
your COPR and PR visa are valid; and, <-- this line is also bit different than yours
 use this letter before 2021/09/15


also, can you please advise when was your GC key got update. I am unable to login into mycic account since I received the AL. I am getting bad gateway error.

needed help - I have study permit in sep 2019 but didn't attend college returned to India in jan 2020, i'm planning to go back as student as my study permit is valid until July 27 2021, My meds are going to expiry by jJn 22 2021, meanwhile I'm waiting for AL. Can I land in Canada for May intake in January ?

No, once you are approved for COPR. WP/Study permit are not valid.
