As far as I know about exemptions it only healthcare, trucking people and anyone who is related to essential stuff. I doubt that financial sector comes in that. You can raise a web form to ask. They are bit active now a days.Thank you anyways for paying attention.
Also not sure if it's important, I received 2 files in my profile: Letter accompanying the Visa - saying my COPR was approved; and "IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR IMMIGRATION TO CANADA" file - where it says I cannot travel to Canada unless I'm exempt from the restrictions. Then when I go to their website I'm not able to find any specific description of who are considered exempts. Like I see those who work in financial industry may be able to enter, but not sure. Also not sure if a valid job offer would change anything...
If anyone has any idea please let me know. I don't even know what to wait for or what updates to follow)))
Just make sure to check for new CoPR in your GCkey. Ask your consultant if new CoPR is there.I just received my AL but where in my cic account can I find my updated COPR?
My profile is handled by a consultant so I have never seen my profile. He only shared the AL, is that enough?
Just make sure to check for new CoPR in your GCkey. Ask your consultant if new CoPR is there.
You need both for travelling. Airport officials check both AL letter's copy and CoPR online before boarding.
@whyCorona Do they check new COPR in gc account as hard copy of new COPR is not sent to us now?Just make sure to check for new CoPR in your GCkey. Ask your consultant if new CoPR is there.

Just tell him to go inside your Application (Click on Check full application status) and there should be a sub heading named Document Status and check if there are new CoPR details.Great will do! Is there any particular slot/ name under which you could find yours?

this shouldnt be an issueHi! Anyone here who is travelling soon or has travelled recently?
My friend (who got her student visa recently ) and I (got my COPR extension till Feb 3rd) are both travelling together on the same day. We were wondering whether we can quarantine together?
Yes they do and they don't check your GC key but instead they confirm it online somehow. There is person who denied boarding with AL because his CoPR was not updated online. He also posted his experience in this thread. However in few days he got CoPR updated and on second attempt he boarded successfully. Thanks!! I got that.
What I meant in my question was, Do airline/immigration people check our gc account for new COPR details?
Thanks a ton for the explanation. You are real gem in this group.Yes they do and they don't check your GC key but instead they confirm it online somehow. There is person who denied boarding with AL because his CoPR was not updated online. He also posted his experience in this thread. So you need to have new CoPR issued online in order to travel with AL.
