that has always been there. The message has not changed if you cant fly raise a webform. If you can fly, we are expecting you thats the message.

People should stop all these tell IRCC we cant fly to ask for extension - note extension or not things would be stalled significantly

Human being are indeed insatiable, soon we would ask Canada to fly us down to Canada
No till last week there was no self isolation rule

The message is clear, if you can travel ahead , if not raise CSE.

Monday or Tuesday, more information should open up the gates.

Extending PRvisa is a huge task because at least the passport must be re-stamped.

Immediate assess to Provincial health care is already opened up in Ontario, so immediate assess to health care in case of COVID-19 would be possible.

the only risk free place is nowhere.

Guys MY COPR EXPIRES ON APRIL 1ST
I dont want to travel in these conditions , in terms of jobs , housing ,etc

however , there is no guarantee that COPRs will be extended , technically for me , may be i would be allowed to land there , but i will pay a ticket worth 3 k USD and will loose my current residency and job in my current country , I am in GCC

I feel very bad , I can not sleep , I am all alone locked in my room under lock down - please extend my COPR
why you loose your job and residency? you can go back in 14 days.

Yes, it's your opinion.Safety first.. yes . But I think they must have gone through a lot of talking before they came to that conclusion.. So many people were suppose to travel this month and next.. An extension is okay.. Go ahead but don't ruin it for others.. Some have shut their lives and were ready to move before the ban..They are presently living out of the box.
If you read my comment carefully, that is exactly what I have said. When SWB was asking people to raise webforms and write to IRCC on twitter, I disagreed. We shouldn't be teaching them their job. They have the best advisors. We have been asking for exemption on travel restrictions since several days, now that we finally have a Ray of hope, several people are now asking for extensions instead.

End of the day, whatever works for you, do that. But don't ruin chances for others by collectively misrepresenting us on twitter and other social media channels.

Personally, the relaxation of travel restrictions for COPR is excellent news.

Hi Guys, quick couple of questions:

1) My medical was done in Oct 2018, submitted all docs in Dec 2018, Got COPR after 1 year in Nov 2019. Deadline to visit Canada is August 2020. My visa in U.S is expiring soon, and I am planning to go to Canada in May. I read at many places that the medical is only valid for 1 year, so when I go in May, can I just go with my passport, COPR and proof of funds, or do I have to re-do the medical and PCC since in May it will be 1.5 years from my medical?

2) The COPR landing can only be via flight right? And not by road. I might come back to U.S for 2 months after soft landing. Because of the Corona situation, are the officers at the Canada airport still sending PR cards at Canada address? If yes, I heard it takes 2-3 months for that. If I want to come back to Canada before I get a PR card, how long does the process of PR Transit document take if I want to get the PRTD from U.S?

Thank you!

Ban is still there for even Canadians and that ban is if you are infected with virus and showing any symptoms of cough, cold or sickness (even if its not due to corona) you will not be allowed to board the flight. So be safe and take precautions and don't stress too much about life, job and all. You gonna make yourself sick.

Stay healthy and chill.

Hello guys. I'm trying to figure out if I can fly to Canada on my current situation. I'm living in Brazil and my wife and I are parents of a Canadian child. Are we allowed to enter in Canada given current situation?

Thanks for help

To answer your first question, as long as your CoPR/PRV and passport is valid at the time of entry into Canada, you dont have to worry about your medical. Although I am surprised that your CoPR is valid until August 2020 while your medical already expired in Oct 2019 (assuming the validity of your medicals was 1 year like everybody else).

Normally, the expiration date of CoPR coincides with the expiration date of your medical (1 year from the date of medical check)

About your second question, I will let someone else answer as I don't have much info about PRTD
