Landed in Toronto this morning Via VB flights. (Mumbai-Delhi-Toronto).
COPR expiry: Mid july

Flights were full.(Both domestic,International)
Immigration went smooth with general questions/documents regarding proof of funds, any criminal background,
where I am planning to stay, family background)
Stamped goods to follow list and went straight to accommodation.

They casually asked us to isolate for 14 days, didn't take any address. Haven't applied for SIN yet.

I was given a separate form for address change notification to CIC for PR card delivery.Since I didn't have a permanent address he asked to notify CIC when I do have it,so the card could be delivered to that address.
Process can be done online.
Hi
Congratulations on your landing.
could you please share a few details ? How long did it take to get a travel document? I haven’t received COPR yet. However I want to get back ASAP!

Hi everyone. I have been on this thread from page 10 and have been actively following it since.
I have finally landed in Canada and would like to share my experience. I hope this helps calm the nerves for some of you.

DUBAI - TORONTO - CALGARY

After 3 cancelled flights by KLM, I ended up asking for a refund and booking my flight with Emirates Airline.
As many of you UAE residents must already be aware, new travel restrictions are being implemented starting 23rd of June in UAE for all travellers travelling in or out of the country. Since my flight was on 24, I couldn't risk having another failed attempt at landing.
I preponed my flight to 19th June and landed.

Landing Experience :
Landed at Toronto Pearson Terminal 1 at 3pm and the airport was deserted. There were no lines at immigration.
Immigration officer asked for both copies of my COPR along with my passport and declaration card. He asked me to wait while he verified the details on his system. In less than 5 minutes, he called out my name, asked me to sign both copies, asked me if I was aware of the 14 days mandatory quarantine, and said "Welcome to Canada"
He didn't ask me ANY details about my quarantine plan even though I had it all ready.
Baggage collection and custom clearance took less than 15 minutes. Custom officer only asked me if I had any meat products to which I said no. I declared more than 10k cash so she took my signature on a paper and I was good to go.
I then took the Link train to Terminal 3 for my domestic flight to Calgary.

I'm currently at an Airbnb serving my 14 days of quarantine.

The entire process was VERY smooth and easy and the immigration officer was very friendly and professional.

I'd be happy to answer if anyone has questions.
Congrats on your landing. I was on the same flight from Dubai to Toronto so can relate to your experience.

Have been following this thread since travel bans were announced back in March.

Would like to thank all of you for the useful information and wish you all speedy travels to Canada.

Congratulations on your successful landing and Thank you sharing valuable information.

Could you please help with information on your AirBnb booking.., like type of Accommodation, is it ok with Shared Bathroom and Kitchen etc.. I am finding difficulty in finding a accommodation with everything Private.
Unless the person you are sharing the kitchen and bathroom with agrees to also quarantine you can’t share a bathroom and kitchen. What city are you landing in?

Hi All
Kindly help me in this

My COPR expired on April 30th..is it something like that I need to raise the Ready to travel webform within sixty days from that..Means within June 30..please share your insights..it will be very helpful

Thanks in advance
If you are not in condition to travel within 60 days of your application being reopened then you will be given additional 60 days. Is your application reopened at first place? Mine is not reopened yet and still in approved state with CoPR expired. Indian VOs are working differently as they are waiting for resumption of international flights.

Hey guys,

Hope all are well!

Firstly, I thank everyone who are actively easing pressure and uncertainty by sharing their views and experiences with their journey of COPR to PR. Its really calms us down!

I need some help regarding my COPR to PR journey...

Following are some of the details-

1) My COPR was issued before the 18th March and is due to expire in Mid August.
2) I am a PNP applicant to Alberta with destination Calgar on my copr
3) There is a mistake/error in my copr and visa - they have printed the wrong gender
4) As I stay in India, only the Vande Bharat Flights are available to Toronto and Vancouver
5) My agent emailed cic, and they requested him to email NDVO as its the issuing office. He then emailed NDVO too, but not reply. He again emailed CIC and received a reply that the application has been forwarded to the concerned office.

My questions:-

1) Can I travel with this COPR and visa?
2) How can I rectify it? Attempted it 3 times by now!
3) Can I land in Toronto or Vancouver (VB Flights) and then take a domestic flight to Calgary? In this case would I require to quarantine in Toronto/Vancouver? Since I am a PNP applicant, am i suppose to complete my landing procedures in Alberta?
4) Will I need to request for an extension on my COPR?

I have waited over 2.5 years to make it this far... I really hope it works out!

Hello all, I have a query.
My CoPR expired last week, I had raised the webform about my inability to travel in May, my CIC account shows status as Approved and counterfoil Expired.
Now I was under the impression that for this extension process, I am supposed to raise 2 webforms; 1st about my inability to travel (which I already did in May), and 2nd when I will be ready to travel.
My question is, am I supposed to raise another webform after my CoPR expiry stating that it has expired and I was unable to travel etc (won't that be a repetition of the 1st webform I raised?) [so that's making a total of 3 webforms for this process].

Apologies if this query seems illogical but I got confused after reading a few posts hence asking this question.

Anyone planning on raising a webform for traveling on the basis of Vande Bharat flights? Any clarity on whether VO and VFS are functional in India. Already resigned from my job, so little restless. Ideally would like to put the visa process in motion but would like to hear advice, experience of other members.

Thanks. I had booked an independent basement in Calgary. I was told that the officers will not accept if the bathroom or kitchen or any facility is shared with others..
But in my own experience, the officer did not ask specifics about the quarantine address. He only asked if I had one.
This could differ from person to person and officer to officer.
Try to find a place that is totally independent to avoid taking any chances.
Thank you. I will find independent accommodation.

Is there any chance to fly from India to Dubai first and then take a flight from Dubai to Toronto? Looks like there are some flydubai flights available in July but I dont understand if we will be allowed on those flights since we only have a canada COPR and no UAE visa.
