So guys finally land at Toronto Pearson.

COPR validity was till 18th May.
Landed immigrant on 18th May.
Delhi London Air India
London Toronto Air Canada

At Pearson immigration two forms were required to fill.
One is regarding Covid-19, like you plans of quarantine which requires address, phone numbers, type of property.

Immigration Officer verbally asked about the number of rooms available at the property where I’m gonna stay, will it have separate kitchen, will it have easy access to the essential stores.

Another form was like United States Customs form having questions like are you carrying weapon, meat, currency more than 10000 CAD, etc. and aN important question:- do you have goods to follow? I answered yes to it as I have made a list of around 100000 CAD jewellery along with valuation and pictures of each ornament.

After simple formality immigration officer signed and stamped my COPR with cute smile on face and laughing on the last day arrival.

Then at the exit I submitted the second form in which I declared goods to follow. Then the concerned officer said to visit CBSA before exit. CBSA counter was right there on the left side of exit gate.
CBSA officer stamped my goods to follow list which include only jewellery. She gave me a bill of 100000 CAD and a copy of my goods to Follow list along with pictures of jewellery.

SIN applications are not available at the airport these days, so I will apply online.
Dear, have you informed İRCC about that you can not travel before? İf yes after that have you raised second webform about that you can travel?

Why I am asking the such type question? My visa will expire on August and I raised webform about inability of travel. Now our country border will open on July. I want to know should I raise webform again? If I will not raise webform and travel, is my visa valid? I hesitate that if I will raise webform I should wait the IRC answer and I will loose my time, beause IRCC response webforms within month.

Good question.
I have raised only one web form on 06th May as my COPR was valid till 18th May.
After raising a web form I received a generic automated response :-
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Migration Section at the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi will be limiting its operations until further notice. The Migration Sections at the Consulate in Bangalore and the Consulate in Chandigarh are closed until further notice.
I’ve not raised another web form showing ability to come within validity of COPR. I simply booked flight and clear immigration. They’ve not asked me about any web form.

As per IRCC, you are encouraged to travel within CoPR validity if you can travel and are willing to travel. You just need to raise webform again that you are able to travel with your current CoPR. Extension process will only initiate after your current CoPR expiry date.

IRCC is encouraging COPR holders to travel within validity, if possible. In case of raising web form that shows you are able to travel, what I figured out is this is for those whose COPR is expired because I’ve asked the Immigration Officer at the airport about this, she said you are good to go, there is no need to raise another web form showing ability to come if your COPR is not expire because we have not start any processing on your web form showing inability to reach within time, which I raised on 06th May.

For courtesy sake you can inform them that you have travelled although it is not needed as your application will be updated once you complete the landing process and get the PR status.

If your connecting flight is between 24hrs you don’t require to exit the airport so that means you can stay inside the connection lounge area of Heathrow without any visa. I’ve been to Heathrow several times and had connections between 5 to 15 hours, the visa was never required.
even in my recent flight that’s is on 18th May my connection was of 17hrs, the immigration department of UK allowed me to wait in the connection Lounge. But as I’m having UK visa so exit the airport and after strolling for five hours I entered the departure section again.
But that is 100percent sure that you don’t require UK visa for connecting flights within 24 hours if you have Indian Passport.
Thanks so much .I am planning a connection flight as well. I have one question,I have long term accommodation arrangements from the next day of my flight. My flight is supposed to land late evening so can i stay at the airport lounge in Toronto overnight, as I have accomodation from.next day?would they allow.

Sorry to say buddy but all lounges, cafes and non essential stores are closed at all airports these days.
Even at Heathrow only one store was open.
So I don’t think so that Toronto airport will allow you to wait inside the premises. But may be they will help you if you show them your accommodation proof but don’t disclose it at the immigration counter, show this at the exit point where you will gonna submit CBSA form.

As per my experience I’ve always got two boarding passes in Delhi Airport only whether my connection was via Germany/UK and through British or Lufthansa Airlines even in those times when there was no visa of these countries on my passport.
I have read the same on Lufthansa website. They clearly state that as long as one does not have to collect baggage during connecting flights, they don't have to go through customs again. So technically one would not require a visa as long as they stay under transit side of the airport.

Those who are worried about visas, just fly through Cathay Pacific or Qatar Airways. Indian Nationals can travel to Hong Kong visa free for up-to 14 day stay and Qatar for up-to 30 day stay :)

Was your CoPR approved before March 18th and is that why you were able to complete landing procedures? I am assuming you did them at the land border? Were you allowed to come back to the US right away or do you need to quarantine for 14 days in Canada?
My COPR was issued in February. I entered Canada through land border..didn't come back to US. I have moved permanently with all my household stuff and personal vehicle..currently under mandatory self isolation at a friend's place, in his vacant basement unit.

Hi All - Has anyone entered Canada through the land border recently to complete immigration requirements? If so, were you able to turn around and come back to the US without needing to quarantine for 14 days? How was the experience entering back into the US?

Hello Friends,

Did anyone travel to Canada Toronto from India recently or are planning to travel in the coming weeks? Please let me know. Bookings for some airlines are still closed.so not sure what to do.Also COPR is expired.
Have another question. If on your COPR the destination city is Toronto then do you need to make final landing there? Like Qatar airways flies to Montreal so if we travel by that will it be fine?

As per your query :-
1. I have reached Toronto yesterday.
2. I used Air India Del-Lhr and Air Canada Lhr-Yyz
3. You can land anywhere, in any province of Canada, it doesn’t matter which destination is mentioned on your COPR. But in case of PNP, the rule may be different.
4. If you use Qatar Airways and will land in Montreal then you will have to go through the immigration procedure right there at Montreal, only after that you can go to the final destination.
