This is exactly what the person in the video was also saying... Workers, student are allowe sk what would a 1000 more do? But there is nothing we can do. Just wait and wait. It's almost 2 years or maybe more of people's life that's wasted waiting.

But in his case new copr is issued after March so that rule doesn't apply to him
It can be interpreted both ways. The fact that they expressly mention the pre-March 2020 COPR in the new COPR tends to make one think this is to clarify that the COPR holder is travel restriction exempt, though. Otherwise this line would have no purpose. It also seems logical that they would be restriction exempt but as we all know common sense is not in IRCC's vocabulary and cannot be relied upon.
IRCC should clarify this and expressly explain what they mean by "replaced". Otherwise it's opened to discretionary interpretation by the customs officer imo.

However, you can’t travel to Canada on expired documents. We’ll contact you (if we haven’t already) to ask you if you’re able to travel to Canada now, to live and settle here. After we receive your reply, we will respond to you within 4 weeks. Once we approve you to come to Canada, we’ll issue you the documents you need to travel"
I am exempt from travel restrictions as per above and an email I received from them.

A quick update. In the envelope with my COPR, there were some other info re what to do prior to departure with the ongoing pandemic. Most were not applicabe but it is stated that I need to download ArriveCan app and provide them my details
So you might want to download the app too.

You’re right, just because it isn’t specified in black and white terms, it is possible the immigration officer may use their own interpretation and make a decision. If in case that happens, one might have to guide the official through the sequence of events that transpired.

Hi, I replied positively to the mail "Do you still want to immigrate" and now the profile is updated (expired COPR details are disappeared and current status is shown as submitted). could someone please tell me after the profile got updated how long it took to receive the re-medical request?
