COPR and coronavirus

It is a really tough situation for me and people with similar situation.
I worked very hard to get my COPR , and now the world is ending

i will never travel in these situations , i am worried about myself too , i have Asthma
I am sure the government of Canada will support us and give us a more flexible timeline

Be hopeful. Panic and anxiety would even worsen your physical and mental health.

Certainly, Canadian authorities would have something in mind regarding this situation. Country that came into being and is growing on basis of immigration wont let immigrants down.

Just wait for proper clarification

Hey, I’m in the same boat. COPR expiring the first week of April. Sent them 2 webforms today, but no reply ! I’m sure, they will take some time with reply. Tried calling them too, but no reply - “too many people calling

When did you send the webform ? Also, where are you travelling from ?

I am traveling from Qatar - send one webform a week ago , and one yesterday

Canadian border officer is telling that they can not take care of COPR this time. The only way for non-US nationals to enter Canada is via land but they will not take care of COPR. Does anybody have update?

Thats not what I was told last time I spoke with an agent this morning.
What was the reason the agent gave?

she sid CORP is not urgent and there are many people right now, very crowded

do you also have the same info that only land entry is available from the US for non-us nationals?

Basically it will depend on how much traffic there is at the border when you arrive. Most likely the borders are gonna be busy.
I am thinking of landing friday AM - hopefully less rush at the time

COPR isn't urgent what do you mean by this?

Please explain everything you discussed with the officer.
