Cooks (NOC 6322) ... is it still valid for CEC EE?

Hello guys,

I was thinking about working as a cook because it's classified as Skill B.
But, I found this:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
As of November 9, 2013, work experience in the following National Occupation Classification (NOC) B occupations (listed with the corresponding NOC code) will not be accepted in the CEC:

Cooks (NOC 6322)
Food service supervisors (NOC 6311)
Administrative officers (NOC 1221)
Administrative assistants (NOC 1241)
Accounting technicians and bookkeepers (NOC 1311)
Retail sales supervisors (NOC 6211)
For all other NOC B occupations, we will accept up to 200 applications per occupation. Once we reach the cap, we will no longer accept applications for that occupation. Once CIC receives 12,000 complete CEC applications, we will no longer accept any application for processing, even if there are occupational caps that have not been filled.

---------------------------------------------------------

Is CIC still not accepting Cook (NOC 6322)?
It's quite weird that they're not even accepting Administrative Officers ....
Can I see a recent list of rejected Skill A,B,0 occupations for CEC?

This information is from 2013, 2014. I think they had some update in 2015... so I want to know if this is still the case.
The problem is, I can't find any related info about this on CIC's current site (2016).

Thanks

Are you sure?

Thanks. But where does it say so?
I want to see it before I jump into one of these NOCs... otherwise I will waste so much time and do irreparable damage to my life.

Wow... thank god.
Thanks for the link.
Everyday I find new information about this program... I see how scattered the information is in general.
Without of forum like this, It's impossible to fully comprehend this program.

I am guarantee 100% sure too that cook noc 6322 eligible for express entry system.
If you meet requirements and work at least 1 years full time in Canada you can
Apply under Canadian experience class.

Good luck.

Just make sure your offer of employment is a permanent offer. I have friends who are cooks and got their EE applications denied because of problems with their job offers not satisfying the agent. But I have another friend who got his approved so yes cooks are accepted :)

Yeah, I will make sure it's permanent.

But, I want to figure out one thing... If I work for one employer for 6 months and then switch to other employer and work 6 months in the same NOC, can I still qualify for CEC EE?

Absolutely yes, if you work:
Full Time
30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
Part time
15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
OR
30 hours/week for 12 months at more than one job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

Do you need a certificate of qualification from a Province or territory to claim the work experience or just a reference letter and paystub?
