Hello All,

My AOR is in Nov 2017 and has exceeded the standard processing time of 06 months. I have read somewhere that there is an option for a Canadian Citizen to contact the local MP office, fill up some forms and request an action on such applications on my behalf. Could someone please enlighten on the process?

TIA!

It's only an option if you yourself are living in Canada. Are you living in Canada?

EDIT: I would also say that an MP most likely won't do anything at six months. Many applications take more than six months. If it takes more than a year, then an MP may be willing to get involved.

MP can't help you then.
To add onto what was mentioned, an MP certainly can prod them even if your relatives in Canada are PRs- know 2 families who did that and got their PPRs through the very lethargic NDVO.
