How about asking notary to arrange an English notary seal and pay him/her for this extra expense.
If you decide to get documents translated from Canada then check Federal PR checklist to find out documents that you will need to get translated again while sending documents to CIC and get extra translated/notarized copies of those documents. Will save you time and money.
For ex - I got 2 translated copies of my birth certificate ( one for MIDI and another for CIC)
