Hi all
Please help and you input will be highly appreciated.
I applied for my mom's visit visa extension via online.
I got a response with three pdf file.
One: It explains that the extension has been approved and a document has been send about the approval(This letter also shows the validity of extension until 30th of Nov 2014(approx. six month)).
Two: It explains that the application has been approved and she needs to do medical as per the legislation.
Three: A medical form.

I am wandering... if they have approved the visa why medical?????
does the medical affect her current extension that was approved. i.e if an adverse medical record????
Very confusion
Or is the medical for future???
Please help.................................
regards
Sam

I think they are ready to extend her stay and send her papres WHEN they get her medical test results.

As she is in Canada already and they extended her stay for 6 months, she has to take the med test (everybody who extends to stay in Canada 6+ months has to do that).

my mother got her Visitor Record in the mail about in two weeks after she applied for extension, but she did her medical after a month. When CIC got the results, it was updated in my CIC account. But you will get the extension even you do your medicals anytime in that 60 days.
