I am currently working as a Technical sales specialist in a retail store. Will this role be considered under NOC 6221- B in Experience class category ?
Did anyone applied before under the same situation and got the PR ?

CEC isn't about job titles - it's about duties so check if your responsibilities match those of the noc role

The NOC code 6221 says Technical sales specialist - Wholesale trade.. which means they don't deal directly with consumers , However, in retail environment I deal with the consumers directly.

Then find a different NOC. It's not the titles that have to match exactly, it's the duties you
perform in your job. The titles should be somewhat related tho.
Find a NOC with matching duties or post your duties and we'll help you find a matching NOC. ::)

All I could find is 6221, which is wholesale only and not dealing with private clients.
And 6421, what matches your duties but is not eligible under CEC class. Your best bet would
be going with 6221 and have your supervisor or HR person make the duties match the ones mentioned there:
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/Profile.aspx?val=6&val1=6421
But the duties you mentioned are already super close and if you ask me, match the ones on the website.

The duties in 6221 and 6241 are quite similar just the difference is the end client,

Do you think its worth trying 6221 or find another job ?

I'm not sure how the VO serious the VO is going to take the 'wholesale' part,
as your duties match. Maybe someone else can chime in on this??

Anyone?

retail and wholesale are different, people have been refused for getting that mixed up and putting the wrong NOC. Esp. since you work for a well-known telecom, it will be difficult for the VO to miss that.

Unfortunately, your NOC looks to be 6421. Your best bet is getting promoted to supervisor/manager, or finding a new, qualifying position -

Erm because cec is all about job description - sure if your job description says you are a rocket scientist t you're paid minimum wage, questions might be asked but generally cec looks at the duties. This makes sense due to variations in wages depending on various factors such as location, experience and who is CIC to decide whether a job is skilled based on wages.

You can be a supervisor in Dollarama and apply because of your job duties, but be paid close to $11 an hour

You could have a non skilled job (well as immigration sees it) and be paid over $20

Just the way it is im afraid, they look at the job duties, their rules! take it or leave it!
