Confirmation of receipt

Hello all,

I sent my application to CIC via courrier. The courrier confirmed delivery on March 26th.

Will CIC send me an email confirming that they received the application? Or will the sponsorship approval be the first email I get from them?

Seems to depend on the VO. I got one about a week after it was delivered. Others didn't.

Hi and welcome

From what we have experienced so far almost all applicants since the beginning of this year have received AOR's (Acknowledge of Receipt) email before they received their SA's (Sponsor Approval)

Just be patient and yours should be on it's way any day now!

HELLO ALL,
i sent my application to cic on 18 march i paid the fees online i recieved the AOR's (Acknowledge of Receipt) in the same day on march 18,2013.and on 11 april i recieved an email confirming that they received the application on march 22 right now evreythings is good.
but today i recieved an email from cic saying im missing the payment fees.but i already sent the copy of payment reciept with my application that i got it from them via email when i applied.im confused now i dont know what i have to do please help thanks

My suggestion is to immediately get in touch with CIC either by phone or email. and refer to them your UCI number and your online payment receipt Bar-coded number.
If by any chance they lost the original which I doubt, then you may resend the copy that you already have in files.
