Is it possible for an international student to pursue a course in Concordia University and after completion of course shift to a different state (let's say Ontario or Alberta) in order to get a job?

I maybe totally wrong with respect to my perception in this regard but it would great if you could throw some light on it :)
 
Yea thats a thing that many students follow at the moment.

But rem quebec treats themselves as a diff country and not a part of canada so when they file immigration there is so many questions which visa officers throw at them.

but again now in alberta if u find a full time job its easy to get pr.

so things shouldnt be so hard.

So that's a possibility. Good to know that :)

The reason why I asked this (and wanted to create a separate thread) was that I have got program of my choice at Concordia but for a non-french speaker Montreal isn't the best place to find a job nor file for PR.

But education is key if u ask my opinion.

pr and job will follow :)

so chasing education is key unlike other chasing pr and citizenship.

I am also planning for Concordia. I also don't know French. :)
People usually move to Alberta after completing their degree in QC due to French constraint.

I do intend to learn french however in order to compete with french speaking population I'll have to be more than just a learner. Good to know there's an option available :)

I will also join French classes and try to finish badic levels, once I get visa approval.

Answere to few question asked in forum

1. I also got conditional acceptane(need to show docs one i reach there)and i got my visa , so not an issue with this conditional acceptance .Go ahead and apply .

2.While applying CAQ you can mention the dates "start date + 2 years" i mentioned for may intake and i got CAQ dates from 2014-04-01 to 2016-08-31

I completely agree with you here.
Have been following ur posts.
I am going for alberta this sept, since PR rules are there easier. (Have got offer from Concordia , quebc as well, for same course)
I am going for Masters from Concordia University College of alberta.

I heard PR rules in alberta are going to be stricter from last week of april. STRONG POSSIBILITY THIS MAY BE A RUMOUR. Any idea about this? I am thinking of contacting the Alberta PNP department.

Also which course u r doing and which insitute?

It could also be 6. My bad. Pls check the course pathway page on the official website. They usually have this detail.
