rent if u r sharing an apartment is roughly $250 if renting alone is $750-$850.....food depends if u cook then rouhly $100-$200 per month if u eat out $300-$400 per month. part time job r difficult to come by unless u know french . do not expect to pay ur fees by working off campus. i dont think there r any placement chances any where in canada unless ur in a co op program then too its difficult ..u have to find job urself......

people do get part time jobs but if u know french its easy to find a part time job or else u need good contacts or get lucky....u will find part jobs in summer mostly .....so if u get admitted in fall u can expect to get a job in next summer but u have to have lots of friends. Also compared to other provinces it is difficult to get part time jobs without knowing french.
