Concern about uploading medical exam report to CIC

Hi guys,

I got my copy of the medical exam report from Dr. Francis Li's office in Toronto recently.

I noticed on the report, the exam status show 'finalized'.

When I look at the information sheet the nurse gave me when I come to the clinic, it says 'the status of an individual examination will not appear as "Complete" in the Exam list below until your case has been submitted to Citizenship and Immigration Canada(CIC)"

I am wondering if my exam result has been really submitted to CIC.

So my question is for those who has ordered a copy of the medical report, what does the the exam status show on your report? How to make sure that the report has been successfully submitted to CIC?

PS: I come in person to talk to the people in the clinic and the nurse confirms to me that my exam has been submitted to CIC. But since I am a little bit paranoid, I just want to make sure that everything is all right. Is there any confirmation or receipt letter or page that indeed says to the client that the medical results has been successfully received by CIC? Does anyone know?

Thanks.

Hey. I will suggest you relax on the medical upload issue you mentioned. It is totally out of control or the clinic whee your medical was done after submission and neither can you do anything about it thereafter. There's no way to know that the result was received or not except through UCAS.

My result was submitted without update for about 4 months without update. I sent an email to cic and didn't get a response until after 4 weeks and was told that all result was received except for a family member. We went back to the clinic to clarify with the doctor and he printed a copy of the medical result submission for us. We responded to cic attaching the document that indicate that submission was done for the missing applicant. UCAS was later updated as 'medical have been received'.

I will encourage you to enjoy the waiting period. You can contact Sydney after 2 months of medical without update.

In my specific case, the doctor conducted the physical examination, gave the examination sheet that said my exams were not complete and then sent me to the lab to get my tests done. Everything was sent to him and then he sent the information through emedical.

However, I checked today May 26 and my E-Cas was updated and it shows "medicals received". So, it took about 7 days for CIC to get my info.
