The visa remain valid even if your passport expire. You can always show them the visa at POE in the spent of expired passport.

You assume everything went well otherwise they will request for additional information.

Shower of PPR coming this weekend!!! Many October applicants should get their passport photo and mailing envelope ready. All visa exempt applicant should check their mailbox from Monday.

@Angel: your PPR should be latest next Monday. See sample PPR posted by akapoor and get all required items ready with CanadaPost mailing envelope. You should be ready to send it to them as soon as you get the PPR in the next few days. I congratulate you in advance!
