I submitted my documents to CES and ICAS both together to avoid any problems of communication which is more frustrating

Any idea, how long CES take to update the applicant for their initial status like "application in process...''

My CES timeline is:

Document sent: 15/10/2014
Courier delivered: 17/10/2014
CC charged: 20/10/2014
since then: No response

I called them today and they said they are processing applications received in early August right now, and if your documents are complete and there is no problem, you will receive it after 15 weeks, so keep calm and pray to GOD

Did you told them your student ID which they gave you or just your name?
Also, I don't understand the use of that ID, since I believe there's nothing for us when we login, I am right?
I believe I will receive mine after yours, but did she told you when to expect the report?

So, lets cross our fingers for the results soon, can I ask which NOC are you applying for? and if rest of the things are ready by your side including IELTS?

My docs reached there 28th August, while docs from Uni were there 3rd Sept, and they had the correct date in their database, your CAP is almost half way, In Sha Allah you will make it, I called them today and told you about how precise they were in telling the exact date of applications they are now processing, try calling them after 3-4 days and ask the same, so we know how much time they are taking to cover one day application in general !

We'v reached mid November. I thought CES, ICAS, WES guys would have announced/activated their "rush service" by now, since December is the last date before Express Entry system starts, before 2014 guys can no longer go for FSW "as it is".

Its 11th November 2014. They still haven't activated their rush service.

I got an email from CES, they confirmed that they will not start rush service, because if they do, they won't be able to complete all applications, so NO rush service for them, also FSW will end before April 2015, check CIC website for details, it is as per their initial statement, go through it again

There is always confusion because some say before Jan and some before may 15....

Someone can asked from CIC?

From January 1 under Express Entry, these workers may be selected by the federal and provincial governments, as well as Canadian employers. There will be no eligible occupation list, as there is under the Federal Skilled Worker Program in its existing format, and as of January prospective candidates will no longer be able to apply directly to that program. Instead, they will make an expression of interest in immigrating to Canada and, if selected, will be issued an invitation to apply for permanent residence.

Summary:

(a) There will be no eligible occupation list, as there is under the Federal Skilled Worker Program in its existing format, and

(c) Instead, they will make an expression of interest in immigrating to Canada and, if selected, will be issued an invitation to apply for permanent residence

According to this, it will end "as it is" as soon as ExpressEntry system starts functioning.

I am not sure because there aint no clear instruction about it, but its better to apply before January, now for me the only thing which is remaining is the ECA, if it doesnt arrive on time, definitely we have to apply in express entry !

Till the last date ! anyways they will return the application in case of NOC filled or late receiving, so why lose chance?

Hi Guys,

Just want to share you I just received my unofficial result today from CES.
CES is giving us a headache.

Here is my timeline.

Main Application reached: 24th July, 2014
Payment deducted: 29th July, 2014
Unofficial ECA received: 12th November, 2014
Official ECA received: waiting.
