Please confirm which documents had you submitted to CES for ECA ?
Was it just the bachelors, masters degrees/transcripts or did you also include matric/inter certificates ?

Hi seniors
Please guide me on my following query.
I have sent my documents to CES around 15 days back for ECA and they reached there 7 days b4 and i received email from them to open the credit card for payment as i was supposed to pay through credit card. I have not made payment yet. Meanwhile, now iam thinking to get ECA from WES since CES is taking too much time. Now CES is waiting for my card to get open and start processing which i dont want now. Hence, iam thinking that i should tell CES and give them any reason that iam no more interested to carry out ECA and apply for FSWP due to some big family problem and ask them to discard the documents. The reason is ok or i should think much better than this? need your opinion on it.
Further, please tell that CES would not create any problem with my FSWP application i mean that they wont report any such kind of behavior to FSWP? Please help me in my problem.

All CES service fees are final and non-refundable.
CES Service Fees
You will be charged the fees listed on our Service fees page. If we deem that your application is incomplete, we will notify you by email, identify what is missing, and provide a reasonable deadline to complete your application. If you do not provide the missing documents before the deadline, your application and accompanying documents will be destroyed. All CES service fees are final and non-refundable.
CES cannot guarantee that it will be in a position to issue an educational credential assessment report. We will endeavour to do our very best, but if we are not satisfied with the official documents received and cannot obtain information or verification from the institution, a report will not be issued. This includes cases when the documents are found to be fraudulent or falsified.
Retention and Disposal of Documents
Documents submitted to CES will not be returned, and communications with other institutions will not be released to the applicant. Documents are disposed of according to the University of Toronto's data retention and disposal guidelines. CES reserves the right to retain personal non-financial information for ten years from the date of your application, and may retain this information indefinitely if CES determines that your documents are not authentic.

I assume when you do not pay them they will not take pain to create your electronic record and in few months time they will destroy your application package.
If I were you I would choose not to update them at all.

Thanks zakir for your detailed response. Means you are suggesting me to be silent rather than writing email to them about disposal of documents n etc. In this way, after some time they would automatically destroy the documents.
Guys we need more people to share there timeline so we can guess exactly when we shall receive our ECA reports.
For me I sent my docs and they were received on 28th August.
Credit Card charged on 29th August and Docs from Uni received on 3rd September.
Any idea how long do I need to wait??
