Communication proof?

Hi everyone!

This forum and everyone who shared opinions have been a huge help for my journey! Thank you so much.

I'm almost at the end, just finishing up gathering all the proofs of our relationship.

I'm applying for Common-law sponsorship for my PR, Inland.

However, I've read people mentioning about "Communication proof" like emails, letters etc..

It looked pretty important for especially people not living together with their sponsor.

But I've been living with my sponsor/ my common law partner for 3 full years and we haven't been apart at all that we need to communicate over emails or skype etc..

Is this something that I should be gathering too? I do have couple Christmas or birthday cards we've exchanged over the years that I added for the proof.
But nothing like emails for the major communication method.
I've tried to look if there's anything mentioning specifically for "Communication proof" but I haven't found anything... Am I missing something?
Any ideas please?

Thanks!!!

Mail cards will be good and about the chat logs write a letter and include it to your application explaining your situations

You could also take screen shots of any texts you have sent to one another. That's a daily form of communication that you could include. I'd take a few from every month for the last year (if you have those saved).

Some people also communicate with their significant others over chat like Facebook, so you may have that, too. Even if it's a simple text like, "Will you pick up XX from the grocery store after work?" is proof of relationship and communication.

I spent time apart from my spouse, so I included phone logs, etc. At the beginning, I wrote a brief explanation of things and highlighted a few important lines. You can do the same where you type up a brief paragraph explaining that you weren't apart and therefore don't have heaps of communication logs. That'll help the case officer in the future know that s/he doesn't have to look for that.

If you have any cards you have given each other for holidays, etc., scan those. Same with any love notes you have (if that's your style to leave them.)

We also communicated with email, so I just took a screen shot of the emails in my inbox—not opened to the content but just the rows of email headers.

Other things we included were trips we took together, any concerts, shows or sporting events and the ticket stubs.

I also to the liberty of going into thorough explanation on the IMM forms where it said I could go on to a separate sheet of paper. So, I took advantage of that opportunity to go into detail. Here's a link to that.

I also included an Appendix Table of Contents, and organized everything to make it really easy. (I genuinely think that my time from IP to DM was quick because I took the time to make everything really clear and laid out for them. )

Hope this helps some. I know how stressful it is to gather this info. Good luck!

Communication proof is not needed when you live together, so don't worry about submitting any chats/emails/texts/etc.

That's what I thought so, since I couldn't really find a part to put the proof of communication under my Inland application.
But I'll add some love notes we've been leaving in the house along with the cards I'm adding.

Thank you very much!
