Hello,

I applied for PR under common-law partner sponsorship last August, 2015. (Outside)

I went back home for 2 and half months and just came back to Canada.

My PGWP is expiring in Mar, 2016 and I am thinking to go back home again and wait there while waiting for my PR approval. (To work there and to be with family)

I wonder if it would be ok to do that when it is common-law sponsorship.

Do I must be living with my common-law partner while I am waiting for PR even if I applied Outside one?

As long as you at some point have a full 12 months of continuously living together in a common law relationship, it's OK to go back.

It's perfectly fine, see here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op02-eng.pdf
5.36. How can someone in Canada sponsor a common-law partner from outside Canada when
the definition says “is cohabiting”?

Just make sure to keep proof the relationship is continuing while long-distance.
