It's based on the date you landed as a PR. So if that was Jan 2017, she is responsible to pay back any money you take in social services/welfare, until Jan 2020.

She also can't sponsor any new spouse until after Jan 2020.

And to re-enforce what's already been said, she can do nothing to your PR status. Since you have no conditions, you will have PR forever (just make sure to keep in compliance with residency obligation) or until you get citizenship.
Ah i see. I thought it's based on the date I landed here in Canada because I landed here as tourist last 2012. Well basically I dont need any money from her. I just want her to leave me peacefully and that is enough for me already.

Quick question though, should I obtain a lawyer just to be safe? Or what everyone told me in this thread are based from the law and regulations?

No, a lawyer is completely unnecessary and would just be a waste of money.

You have no conditions on your PR, so nothing can happen to your PR status no matter what she says or does. It's as simple as that.

Only obtain a lawyer if she does something involving the criminal code. Or since you lived together long enough to establish common-law for legal provincial definitions (usually it's 3 years depending on province), there may be family law issues due to your separation. But all this has nothing to do with your PR status.

She signed the undertaking, she's gonna get the hard time. Her position is extremely week and you can just scare her with the 100,000$ fraud fine. Guess who's gonna pay that :). She will.

Make sure to go through separation peacefully but carefully and get a lawyer instead of dealing with the matter face to face. Looks like you don't have the necessary mindset and you are a peaceful guy.

We actually both sat down and settled everything peacefully. She gave me until June to leave the country. And i knew she's gonna change her mind again because that's what she does. Thats why i did some research and started this thread to know the possibility of me retaining my PR status and so far i can see the daylight in front of me.

Ohh and guess what, she texted me again this morning saying I have to leave this country in 2 weeks. Lol! I havent told her yet about this manner. Im just gonna wait until the right time and surprise her ;D ;D

I laughed a WHOLE LOT.

Look, man. You have two easy ways of settling this: one quiet, and one fun.

--- LOOK AGAIN AT YOUR COPR ONE FINAL TIME ---
--- NO Condition 51 mentioned at notes CLEARLY? ----> Proceed
--- Condition 51 in notes ----> ALSO PROCEED, you have nothing to lose and you might as well enjoy your life in Canada. I need to tell you that even if you have 51 there, chances are CIC won't care :)

Way 1 - Quiet and Peaceful
just block her and her number of your phone and contacts. she will go mad for a while then forget about it. Unless she is obsessed when you can then get a restraining order fairly easy by going to any police station. If she gets near you, you get money + fun

Way 2 - funny
start doing the same to her. Send her texts that you are getting social assistance, and tell her you are moving to Alberta using government money. Drawn her into details of your fun life using government money and do not engage in any conversation that makes sense. just bullet point style fake new about the fun you are having. Drive her mad, till she gets a restraining order against you :D.
kiddn'
Please stick to route 1 and you will be, I mean you are, fine.

So this talking about three years support, do they apply the time I got my PR?
the 3 years of financial support has nothing to do with how long of a relationship you had prior to applying for pr. The 3 year financial undertaking is what SHE agreed to and signed when she applied and was approved for being a spousal sponsor. she may want to re-read the application she signed, because it's all in there. she's the one with all the risks here, not you.

There's no condition 51 really. We'll see if she still acting like that, i have no choice but to play around so she will stop. I just want to live peacefully and this lady just won't. Thanks alot anyway. Good luck to me i guess haha
