hey everybody!

i'm gathering proof to be able to show that our relationship is genuine.
soon we will be applying outland through common-law sponsorship.

i now want to get my friends and family members to write some letters stating that our relationship is genuine and ongoing...

does anyone have experience with that and could give me some tips?
obviously my friends have never written a statement like that before so i was gonna give them some advice what they need to put in there...

looking forward to getting help, thanks a lot!

Basic info like how long and in what capacity they know you (can be friends, family, co-workers or professionals like doctor, dentist etc... whoever is willing to help), how they met your spouse, their feelings about your relationship, that they know you live together, and any personal info they want to include. Each letter should be unique to the person writing it.

Also make sure they include their full name, address, business title (if applicable), phone number, email address etc. Not that CIC will ever contact them, but it makes the letter look more professional in the eyes of a VO reading it.

I referred to this thread when I asked friends and family.
