Hi together, I have a question regarding joint bank accounts. My common-law partner is from France and I am from Germany and I am not able to get a french bank account currently. The mobile bank account provider N26 offers a shared space account count as joint bank account, would this type of joint account also qualify for proof of common in law? Since this would be something where we have both our money and pay for everything together. Thank you!

It helps, but it does not prove common-law. What other proofs do you have of having lived together at the same address for a minimum of 12 months?

Thank you for the quick answer! Yes, we have proof that we lived together for at least a year. Since there is a substantial focus on the joint bank account and N26 is not a traditional bank, I was unsure if that type of joint bank account would help us as well.

Not sure about the specific bank question, unfortunately. Best of luck!
