My quebec points assessment:

1.Education (28 points)

a.16 years of full-time education (B.S civil Engineering - 4years Bach.) = 10
b.Quebec Diploma or equivalent = 6
c.Points for area of training (if my degree equivalent to quebec degree) = 12

Note: I haven't consulted comparative evaluation quebec department but I've read all about quebec bachelor degree under university education system and I concluded that my degree (B.S Civil Engineering) is equivalent to Quebec degree.
(Ref link = www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/publications/en/evaluation/fiche7.pdf)

Is that nessesary to consult comparative evaluation quebec department prior to apply QSW? , but it require alot of time......

2.Experiance (6 Points)

a.30 Months of relavent working experiance = 6

3.Age (16 Points)

a.25 years age = 16

4.Language Proficiency (16 Points)

a.ILETS (Speaking = 7 band) = 6

TOTAL POINTS ACHIEVED = 56 POINTS

PASSING POINTS = 49 POINTS

This part should be left out of the assessment (b.Quebec Diploma or equivalent = 6). Quebec will give you points for training, which is 12 points for Civil Engineering training.

I'm not sure how you came up with 12 points for Bachelor's degree. Bachelor's degree is awarded 10 points. 12 points is awarded for master's degree.

They will also need proof of French.

Good luck!

Thanx "quebechopefull", U'r rite . I ve corrected my post. 4 year bachelor = 10 points.

If my points are already above passing points, why I ve to show proof for french but In ausgust, I'll join 5 months diploma course to learn french.

Cant I apply now for QSW on the basis of above present condition point assessment?

Engr.Atif

You can apply! But my suggestion is do not put 0 level for french, put the level you think you are going to reach after your AF course! I know a lot of people have succeeded this way.

No problem!

Yes, you can apply without proof of French and explain to them that you're enrolled for french classes. However, they may later ask for proof of french in form of language test results e.g. TEF, TeFaQ e.t.c

If your training is considered for priority processing, they may overlook the french and request an interview or no interview. Every case is different.

when i reviewed the quebec selection application form i believe i saw "proof of french" requirement in the form which requires TEF test results i believe.

so application cannot be made until you have TEF proof?

1. If I get addmission in a french learning institute (other than French Allaince) and get enroll for french tests (DelfA1 and A2) , than will it be enough to apply QSW with these two proofs ?

2. I just visited Quebec official website and I found that,

Currently no selection interview for Quebec for applicants from Pakistan and from some other countries ??(ref link = http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/permanent-workers/official-immigration-application/immigration-application/processing-times-table.html#hongkong )

correct me, if my understanding is wrong...

Regards,
Engr.Atif

godofwar - It is recommended that you submit TEF results with your application. If you submit them later, it will further delay processing of your application by months.

Atif - Currently no selection interview for Quebec for applicants from Pakistan and from some other countries ?? - This means that they have not yet selected dates for Pakistan interviews. Dates for interviews will be posted once they make a confirmation.

@quebechopeful.. your right about the interview dates

however TEF is not mandatory...even DELF/DALF exams are also accepted...

thanks shahi
but in one of my friends didn't get points from children. Yes he was given the points from children but was n't add in pass marks. He had applied in 2007. In his letter it is clearly coated that points from children are only added after getting minimum points. I'm confuse about this. and How much score do I get from DELF A2 and DELF B1. I expect 4 from DElf A2 and 6 from Delf B1. Is it true ?

expect reply from shahi and other experience friends

hey satya.. As far as i know u ll get points for childern.. Delf a2 or b1 have no points mentioned but your interview will détermine it .. Shahi
