I can see that you're trying for this from 2012! Very sad! :( I applied in December 2015 and I feel very difficult staying away from my husband!! :( God bless us all!
I cant explain in words....how come they refuse because of simple mistakes in application...even if its mistake how come they punish us like this way!! these system must change or many couple may face this kinds of problem, it is not even a humanity thing. If we make any mistake they can return our application or they can interview us and get informaton from us but they are not doing that ....they straight away marked as misrepresentation and refusing like our file..

But now what happened!! they reopened by themselves again after two years....they didn't give any clear reason why they are reopening. after reopening they request additional documents submitted immidiately...now what next??

Hi all,

For those who got PPR, to which address did you have to hand in your passport? Is it to the VFS Lanka (Private) Limited at 4-1/1, 1st Floor, Geethanjali Place, Colombo 3 or did you have to bring it to High Commission of Canada at 33AFifth Lane, Kollupittiya, Colombo 3? I'm getting conflicting information.

Thanks.

Hi,

Can somebody help me please?Huh

I'm from Sri Lanka. I was going through my divorce while I was having my common law relationship. I have a daughter from my marriage as well as from the common law relationship. I received the invitation and submitted application and then I was interviewed by the local Canadian embassy and requested the divorce certificate for them to progress with the case. But, I ended up with not getting the divorce after 3 years of courts trial. But my husband agreed and signed the documents to take his daughter to Canada with me. I informed this new change plus Common Law relationship and the new born information to the local Canadian embassy and they requested a list of documents including evidence to process the application, which I provided in full.

Has anyone faced a situation as such..what could be the next steps? Will they recalculate my score? If they do, I'm out..Please help....

Can you tell me; who is sponsoring you or are you under the skilled worker program

Does anyone have an email to contact the Visa Office in Colombo? I've tried contacting twice, through Colombo-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca but not a single response received.

Does anyone know if this is the right email?

Sorry for the late response, I don't know if you have already got an answer, but yes it is the correct email address. If it is within your processing time they will not reply.
