Yes, you are correct. We applied on 28 April 2016, and got PPR request on 31 Oct 2016. Exactly within 6 months of applying. Hope everyone will get good news soon.

They usually request remedical 2 months after expiry. Thats what they did for two of my friend's wives and soon after they issued visa.

Not a Nov/Dec applicant, but an April 2016 applicant here. App received by CIC at the end of April 2016, additional docs requested mid August, submitted those within a week of request. Waiting patiently to hear back now... hope we all get the good news soon.
