Hello everyone,
I graduated in BBA with 53 % 3 yrs back and I am sure no credible university is going to accept me.
At this age of 26 I have no time and energy to crack gmat.
I am looking for Masters programme in business/mgmt./HR etc not necessarily MBA , PG course would do as well

Some queries in relation to the same
1) I think post grad diploma is better programme than post grad certificate. The only colleges offering PGD - 2yrs are Northern lights and northern island.
2)Are these colleges worthy enough or should TRU and VIU hold better prospects for future employments

BTW I have close to 3 yrs work experience in an MN as sales specialist. Although not educationally strong, I have some excellent sales experience and believe I am an effective communicator

Any other college/course or any info. Everyone suggestions invited

Leave all these.
These Pg diplomas and MBA from uni like Vancouver Island Uni or Thmpson river uni is totally worthless.

U will hardly see any canadian students doing these courses.

The only pg diploma which is ok and which may fetch you a job is 1 year pg diploma in IB from red river college.

or go for 2 year post secondary diplomas(practical diplomas) which will be quite helpful for entering in the job market from institutes like SAIT,NAIT.Red river college or bow valley college.

Rest is upto You.

Thank you for the info.

As per the official Canada website, only Red River College of Applied Arts and Sciences is recognized. Why is it specifically mentioned Applied Arts and Sciences. Does it mean that other courses are non-recognized? Please clarify.

Bsht. It is not the USA. it is Canada, and there is no such a ranking as they try to do in US, and that\s why for a foreign student there is no a big difference between universities in big and small cities in Canada. There is a difference between educational and research universities (if you understand what I mean, of course), but that is all. And of course NEVER EVER go to a COLLEGE if you can go to ANY University.
Besides employees does not care what university is your PG or masters from, as long as you have them . So PG from TRU is as good as PG from any other university.

There is another reason to go for PG instead of Masters, especially if Masters is not in science. You see when after getting masters you will try to find a job in the same range as CANADIANS with Masters (and why not- you will think, "you also have Masters) you will not be considered BECAUSE Canadians with masters HAVE CANADIAN job experience for 5-10 years and you have NONE. It is a BIG difference: graduate degree and Canadian experience and just masters without job experience that your Canadian peers have.

With PG diploma you compete with Canadians with bachelor degree, and it is a big difference.
