Hi Experts,

I need you advice before moving to Canada. I suppose to get closed worked permit (2 years) from an IT company in Alberta. I am 32 years old now and by profession is a software engineer.

Right now WES has been done and IELTS has been done, spouse score has been added and our CRS is 372. I got to know from consultant after 1 year of experience in Canada my score will be 445 approx.(keeping my age 34)

Currently, I am doing permanent job in Germany. Will that be a wise decision to move to Canada keeping in mind CRS is very fluctuating from recent times and getting even higher. What will be the case is province stop accepting applications under PNP or their points also raised 450?

All in all, how much the risk factors included in accepting the offer from Canada as at this stage i am planning to settling permanently.

Would disagree that a future is secured in Canada or that the economy is moving fast. There is tons of debt in the country by the government and it’s citizen. We are the 2nd most leveraged with Australia being the 1st. The economic growth isn’t that great and there are concerns that a recession may be on the horizon. How did you get this IT job in Alberta? Have you been asked to pay for the job? That is illegal but unfortunately happens. People should not pay. Alberta is not really a hub for IT so I am surprised they couldn’t find an IT worker already in Alberta. The German economy is doing well. Better than Canada but Canada is not tied as directly to the surrounding economies like Germany. We are still significantly influenced by the US. All depends why you want to move to Canada and whether this job ever comes about. Does the employers have an LMIA?

This is genuine job offer from company having employees more than 1K. Its closed work permit for 2 years LMIA exempt. Just want to whats are the possibilities and chances to get PR after 1 year If my score will be around 445 considering risk factors which I don't know yet.

Another reason is the Language, I am not a native German speaker and business is purely driven by german language at higher stages of career.

An IT job would not be LMIA exempt.

What is the LMIA exemption code? Is this an ICT based closed work permit?

I'm not sure how your "consultant" calculated the CRS score but 1 year of Canadian work experience is only 35 or 40 points.

Maybe you should check their maths?

This I can verify, by the way I comes from IT background and the link that you shared contains only T23 which seems relevant to me.
From your previous posts, you are from India. Canada does not have a Free Trade Agreement with India, so T23 does not apply to you.

Hi, Even I am in same question, what if CRS raised from 450 and no PNP at this score.
But what I think, if you have Canadian experience then province can prioritise your application rather candidates having higher CRS which are outside Canada.
Secondly, after getting Canadian experience other ways will open such as CEC FSW etc. But I am still not sure on it.
