Closed work permit extension

Hello,
I got OINP on 2018 and applied for PR on the same year (November). Then after I applied for OINP supported closed work permit as my open work permit was expiring and I got it for one year as my passport was expiring within one year (14th feb 2021). Is it possible to extend or claim for another work permit for one more year, as I supposed to get 2 years of closed work permit (I have renewed my passport)? or is there any other way to get it done as I have not got the PR yet? or should I apply for BOWP?
I shall be highly obliged if I get enlightened on this matter.

Hello there, if your LMIA is for two years you can claim the remaining time, just make sure to include copy of the LMIA and an explanation letter about this matter, or if you have your AOR for your PR application you can apply for a BOWP as well.
