Closed work permit and Study Permit!! Urgent!!!

I am an undergraduate Student, in 2010, I wanted to apply the coop work permit and also extend my visa. However, recently, I find out that
my work permit is not coop permit!! It is closed work permit and visa category is W-1 Worker!! I am pretty never scared and I haven't notice
for 3 years! I need to apply off-campus work permit and i have no idea if the ambassador offer it to me.
I am gonna graduate next year and will apply post work permit, however, does it matter that my work permit is closed work permit and visa
is W-1

Employer: McMaster University (I am just the student! not employee!)
Occupation: EA
EMP LOC:UNKNOWN

That work permit was for Co-op. You can apply for Off Campus work permit if you have completed 6 months of study in university already, there shouldn't be any problem to get off campus work permit now and once you are graduate you can apply for Post Graduate work permit.
