Hi Marlena,MARLENA said:In my case we both received AOR.
It doesn't matter who receive it as long you indicate AOR#, name of the applicant, DOB of applicant so they won't get confused.
Ha Nguyen in my case they still want to see a true copy of marriage certificate even with the written explanation and if you read the manual it does mention "record of solemnization" only is not acceptable.
Yes, I sent a true copy of both marriage certificate and marriage license to them. I hear that if there was a marriage reception would be more convincible to them for good evidence. But we didnt have, we only went to some place for honeymoon. Do you think it's okay? I got the AOR # on 7 Oct 09, and now still waiting. One more thing, when i check my status online, i see that they have my first name wrong spelled, Do i need to contact them to correct?
