In my case we both received AOR.
It doesn't matter who receive it as long you indicate AOR#, name of the applicant, DOB of applicant so they won't get confused.
Ha Nguyen in my case they still want to see a true copy of marriage certificate even with the written explanation and if you read the manual it does mention "record of solemnization" only is not acceptable.
Hi Marlena,
Yes, I sent a true copy of both marriage certificate and marriage license to them. I hear that if there was a marriage reception would be more convincible to them for good evidence. But we didnt have, we only went to some place for honeymoon. Do you think it's okay? I got the AOR # on 7 Oct 09, and now still waiting. One more thing, when i check my status online, i see that they have my first name wrong spelled, Do i need to contact them to correct?

yes, it's better to contact then to have your name correctly spelled, otherwise they can issue you visa with incorrect spelling.

also do not worry for a small reception on your wedding - they usually look for enough proof that your marriage is genuine.

have a good luck!

Marlena,

Recieved my letter stating that i've been approved.

Thanks for your help and everyone else!!!!!!! :)

still got along way to go

When London receive your file they will provide you with AOR. Don't forget to quote the number as well the FULL applicant name and DOB.

Hey Marlena,

My marriage certificate is ready and i should recieve it in the next week or so...

I want to forward the marriage certificate to london, as your previous posts says to quote the AOR #, Date of Birth and Full name, but we haven't receieved our AOR yet.

Can i send it to london using the Client ID i recieved on the Stage 1 approval? My E cas changed to started processing on november 24, but was updated Dec 4?

What is the best thing to do?

Thanks
