Finally i got an Oath letter !!!

Citizenship
We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 19, 2013.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on August 19, 2013.
We started processing your application on October 29, 2013.
We sent you a notice on January 7, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 29, 2015 at 9:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment,
Received CIT 0520 on June 4, 2015.
Sent in Documents on the June 5th 2015.
Called my MP last week to check on my file and was told i should be receiving something shortly.
Today i received a letter of Oath i am so excited i cannot believe it.

they usually send the letters out at once, so maybe tomorrow we may get one or not this time again, lol

nothing yet for us... applied april 11/2014... test may 27/2015... ecas: decision made first week of june 2015..

same here... about 110-130 people in one ceremony...
are you from Regina?

Yes I applied in June 2014 and had test on May 14, 2014 . I got RQ in Oct 2014. Lets see when they gonna invite me for Oath.

Yes , I am from Regina, how about you? Do they call Regina candidates to Regina ceremony only or it doesn't matter?

Yes I applied in June 2014 and had test on May 14, 2014 . I got RQ in Oct 2014. Lets see when they gonna invite me for Oath.

typically yes... i have seen people being called for test in saskatoon (who live in regina) not sure about oath...

maybe they are trying to catch up with the old applicants - 2013?2012?
my wife applied April 11, 2014, had the test May 27, 2015.. nothing yet...

I see, Yes One of my friend applied in Jan 2014, Test in March 2015...still waiting for oath

ouch that is a long wait... I know Jan 2014 applicants from Saskatoon are having oaths today!

One of my friend got his Oath ceremony done in Saskatoon on June 30, he was saying that about 96 applicants got their citizenship on that day ! That's quite a number...........seems like the backlogs are slowly getting cleared up ! and considering that number of applications will be reduced significantly due to new citizenship i think we can expect the things to move faster, as long as CIC doesn't relocate the resources

gst, will you be able to find when those oath takers applied for citizenship.. can you get that information (a range of dates?).

I was wondering the same thing. Is there an official government site that we can look up the actual statistics for people in process of getting their citizenship from application to oath and how many people attend oath ceremonies in each province? There are members that set up similar sites, but doesn't cover all applicants just other members of this forum who are kind enough to share their dates.

My friend got Oath invite yesterday for 15th july ceremony in regina. He had test in march 2015..... now hoping that i will get oath invitation soon..
