We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on June 6, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on June 6, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on August 15, 2014.

We sent you a notice on April 22, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 14, 2015 at 1:00 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

looks like its only redstone from this forum... i wonder which applicants have had the oath so far... i am guessing the oaths are for people who applied from Dec 2013 to whenever, april 2014?

i am assuming you are from regina?

will be interesting to see who else has received the letter?

slow processing in saskatoon

Hello Senior members

I really appreciate the effort you guys are making on this forum. but I think file processing is amazingly late in Saskatoon.

I have seen people in my office given the test in November 2014 and still waiting for OATH and in the end CIC send them with the questionnaire.

other thing I noted that my wife had missed the test and our file was combined one and she is still now waiting for his 2nd test date. the first date was on Jan28th. she called CIC many times and 1 month ago they said some sort of RCMP clearance certificate is expired. the problem is when she will get the test date at that time may be everything on my side of document will be expired.

I even advised my friend working in Saskatoon to move to Mississauga before applying for citizenship.

in Ontario people are getting their citizenship (I mentioned CITIZENSHIP) in like 8-10 months max after applying.

can someone advise me what should my wife as when she is talking with CIC agent.

I will appreciate any help provided

i thought there were three ceremonies in June... just checked but there are FOUR now... did I miss that earlier or was this added later...

Thanks for the heads up on the 4 ceremonies Sept15.

I took the test on June 9th and passed. The officer said 2 - 3 months for oath, but hoping with the increase in ceremonies I will get an invite for one of these.

So who else has got oath letter for june 29 and june 30... and who are these oath for, I mean when did these people apply for grant?
will be good to have some timelines as of who has gotten the letter and when they applied?

There is a new, big Citizenship Ceremony on July 1 at the Exhibition Center in Saskatoon...

redstone, other than you, we do not know who else was invited... no one from this forum, they have 5 ceremonies next week and april 2014 applicants are not invited... do you know if march 2014 are invited?

Finally i got an Oath letter !!!

We sent you a notice on January 7, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 29, 2015 at 9:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment,
Received CIT 0520 on June 4, 2015.
Sent in Documents on the June 5th 2015.
Called my MP last week to check on my file and was told i should be receiving something shortly.
Today i received a letter of Oath i am so excited i cannot believe it.
